What Is & Isn’t Covered

The warranty covers defects originating from the manufacturing process under normal use. It does not cover damage from misuse, modification, or external factors.

  • Connector or port failure (not caused by improper mating)
  • Firmware defects present at the time of delivery

  • Water or liquid ingress beyond the product’s IP rating
  • Damage from overvoltage or reversed polarity
  • Unauthorised modification, repair, or disassembly

RMA Process

Follow these five steps to submit a return. Do not ship any unit without a confirmed RMA number — unidentified returns cannot be processed.

1

Submit Request

Email tina.ng@gnss-solutions.com with your order number, unit serial number, and fault description.

2

Receive RMA Number

We review your request within 1–2 business days and issue a unique RMA number with return instructions.

3

Pack & Ship

Pack the unit securely in ESD-safe packaging. Mark the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box.

4

Evaluation

Our technical team evaluates the unit within 5 business days and confirms whether the fault is covered under warranty.

5

Repair or Replace

Covered units are repaired or replaced and returned. You receive a written report confirming the fault and resolution.

Shipping Instructions

Proper packaging protects your unit in transit and speeds up evaluation. Follow these guidelines before dispatching your return.

📦 Packaging Requirements

  • Use original ESD-safe anti-static packaging where available
  • If original packaging is unavailable, wrap the unit in an anti-static bag
  • Place in a rigid outer carton with at least 3 cm of padding on all sides
  • Include a printed copy of the RMA number inside the package
  • Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box
  • Do not include accessories, cables, or antennas unless specifically requested
  • Remove any SIM cards or memory cards before shipping

✈️ International Shipping

  • Declare as “Defective goods returned for warranty repair” on customs forms
  • Use a trackable courier service (DHL, FedEx, UPS recommended)
  • Declare the correct commercial value — do not under-declare
  • Eview will provide a proforma invoice for customs clearance on return shipment
  • Customer covers outbound shipping costs to Eview
  • Eview covers return shipping for units confirmed under warranty
  • Ensure the unit is eligible for re-export from your country
Important: Units shipped without an RMA number or without prior authorisation from Eview GNSS Technology Ltd cannot be accepted and will be returned at the sender’s expense. Always confirm your RMA number before dispatching.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

If your product is outside the warranty period, or if the damage is not covered under warranty terms, Eview GNSS Technology Ltd still offers paid repair services for most products.

Out-of-warranty repairs follow the same RMA process. Once we have evaluated the unit, we will provide a written quote before any work begins. You are under no obligation to proceed.

Services available for out-of-warranty units:

  • Component-level board repair
  • Connector and port replacement
  • Firmware recovery and re-flashing
  • Calibration and performance verification
  • Damage assessment report (for insurance purposes)

Units beyond economical repair will be returned with a written assessment, or disposed of securely at your request.
