Rugged GNSS base station for RTK, CORS-style reference and monitoring

The Eview HB62 is a rugged GNSS base station and reference receiver built around the Septentrio mosaic-X5. It tracks GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS and NavIC on multiple frequencies and streams RTK corrections to rovers, drones and machines over Ethernet, NTRIP or a serial radio link. The same unit can also run as a centimetre-level rover. It belongs to our rugged base receivers.

Built for long-term fixed installation

The IP67 housing, wide 9–36 V DC input, 1.5 W maximum power draw and −40 °C to +85 °C operating range suit permanent sites on rooftops, masts and remote cabinets. The antenna input uses a TNC connector with a lightning-protection design, so you can pair the HB62 with a geodetic survey antenna or a choke ring antenna for the lowest multipath at a reference site (how choke ring antennas reduce multipath). See our GNSS antennas.

Corrections over NTRIP, Ethernet or radio

A built-in web interface lets you set the HB62 as BASE or ROVER, enter the reference coordinates and choose the output streams. Over Ethernet it sends RTCM v3.x (MSM4/5/6/7) or RTCM v2.x corrections through NTRIP to a caster or directly to your network; the two RS232 ports drive a UHF radio modem or a local controller. CMR v2.0 and CMR+ are also supported. Read our guide to NTRIP, RTCM and RINEX integration.

Raw data logging for post-processing

The 64 GB internal storage records complete raw measurements in Septentrio SBF, which converts to RINEX v2.x or v3.x for network adjustment, static survey and PPK processing. A logging base is the reference for PPK drone missions (RTK vs PPK for drone mapping). Firmware and manuals are on our firmware downloads page.

AIM+ anti-jamming and GNSS+ technologies

A base station that loses lock stops every rover that depends on it. Septentrio AIM+ detects and suppresses narrowband and wideband interference (anti-jamming GNSS receivers). APME+ reduces multipath from nearby walls and roofs, IONO+ protects RTK during ionospheric activity, LOCK+ keeps stable tracking and RAIM+ monitors position integrity.

Applications

Frequently asked questions

Can the HB62 be used as both a base station and a rover?

Yes. The web interface or a single USB configuration step sets the HB62 to BASE or ROVER mode. As a rover it gives 0.6 cm + 0.5 ppm horizontal RTK accuracy with corrections from a CORS network or another base.

How does the HB62 send RTK corrections to rovers?

It outputs RTCM v2.x, RTCM v3.x (MSM4–7) or CMR v2.0 over Ethernet with built-in NTRIP, or over its two RS232 ports to a radio modem. Rovers from most manufacturers accept RTCM v3 MSM.

Which antenna should I use with the HB62?

For a permanent reference site, use a multi-frequency geodetic or choke ring antenna on the TNC input. If you prefer a single-cable, all-in-one base, the HBEV11 RTK smart antenna combines a mosaic-G5 receiver and full-band antenna in one housing.

Can the HB62 work as a CORS-style reference station?

Yes. It is designed for continuous operation with stable power, IP67 sealing and 64 GB logging, and it streams corrections over NTRIP. Network integration and coordinate set-up depend on your caster and survey control; our team can help.
