All-in-one RTK GNSS smart antenna with Septentrio mosaic-G5 inside
The Eview HBEV11 is an RTK GNSS smart antenna: a Septentrio mosaic-G5 P3 receiver, a full-band patch antenna, LNA and filtering in one housing. One cable carries power and data, so it installs like an antenna but delivers centimetre-level RTK positioning directly to your controller or PC. It works as a rover or as a simple RTK base station, and is part of our mosaic-G5 smart antennas.
Receiver and antenna in one housing
A dedicated 85 × 10 mm four-feed full-band patch covers the multi-frequency GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou bands. A 20 dB low-noise amplifier and low-loss SAW filters sit right behind the patch, and TVS protection with more than 8 kV air-discharge ESD guards the RF path. A backup battery keeps the real-time clock running for about four hours for faster restarts. Read our GNSS antenna buyer’s guide for why antenna quality matters for RTK.
RTK rover or base station
As a rover, the HBEV11 accepts RTCM v3.x corrections (including MSM) and reaches 0.6 cm + 0.5 ppm horizontal accuracy with 7 s typical initialization. As a base, it outputs RTCM v3.x MSM on its serial or USB link to a radio modem or an NTRIP device (NTRIP and RTCM integration). For a base with Ethernet, built-in NTRIP and internal storage, see the rugged HB62 base receiver.
Galileo HAS, OSNMA and AIM+
The mosaic-G5 decodes Galileo High Accuracy Service corrections for decimetre-level positioning without a local base (Galileo HAS field results). Galileo OSNMA authenticates navigation data against spoofing, and Septentrio AIM+ suppresses narrowband and wideband interference. Learn more about anti-jamming GNSS receivers and OSNMA anti-spoofing.
GNSS+ technologies
APME+ reduces multipath near buildings, vehicles and metal structures. IONO+ protects RTK accuracy during ionospheric scintillation. LOCK+ keeps tracking stable under vibration, and RAIM+ monitors position integrity. Firmware and manuals are on our firmware downloads page.
Applications
- Surveying and GIS: compact RTK base or rover with a single cable.
- Precision agriculture: roof-mounted RTK for guidance and auto-steering.
- Construction and mining: positioning for machine guidance and site vehicles.
- Deformation monitoring: low-power monitoring points and reference sites.
- Marine: RTK positioning for workboats, USVs and port equipment.
- Robotics: centimetre positioning for outdoor robots and AGVs.
Frequently asked questions
What is an RTK GNSS smart antenna?
A smart antenna combines the GNSS antenna and the receiver in one housing. The HBEV11 outputs ready-to-use RTK positions over a single cable, so you do not need a separate receiver box or RF coaxial cable.
Can the HBEV11 be used as an RTK base station?
Yes. Set it to base mode with known coordinates and it outputs RTCM v3.x MSM corrections over USB, UART or RS232 to a radio modem or NTRIP device. For Ethernet, NTRIP and 64 GB logging in one box, choose the HB62.
What is the difference between the HBEV11 and the HBEV322?
Both use the Septentrio mosaic-G5. The HBEV11 has a large φ155 mm full-band antenna for fixed and vehicle installations. The HBEV322 is a small, light unit with a built-in compass for drones and small robots.
How do I connect the HBEV11?
It uses one M12 4-pin connector for 5–12 V DC power and data. The data link is USB 2.0, LVTTL UART or RS232, set by product option, and a 10 m matched cable is available.
